The iPod Touch is 8mm thick, and can keep photographs, music, pictures and additional digital information. The 8GB model costs $A419 and will be available in the market in Australia after this calendar month. A 16GB model will be sold at $A549.

Apple as well declared that it would reduce the cost of the cover phone by $US200, and stopped the low-end model. The iPhone is presently available exclusively in the United States. Apple ordered its designs to be established in Australia next year.

The 8GB phone will be sold at first for $US399, and the 4GB model, which is distributed for $US399, will be phased out.

Jobs as well unveiled additional fresh editions of the phone market-leader iPod, including an iPod Nano with a 6.5cm picture monitor with catching films and sporting built-in games. The current edition bears a 5cm screen but does not play movies.

It is unbelievably tiny. It is unbelievably slim, Jobs declared about the recent Nano, which boasts a 320-by-240-pixel screen with 24 hours sound replay. We believe it is really, really aesthetic.

The recent Nano will release a 4GB edition for $A199, and an 8GB edition for $A299.
